Operations 201: Complex P&ID Drawings with Control Narratives
A picture may be worth a 1000 words, but a picture plus its story can be worth 5000 words! Learn the importance of control narratives (a.k.a., control descriptions, loop descriptions) and how they augment P&IDs to give a reader the complete picture, beyond just a cropped image.

Learning Objective(s): 
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Explain why many P&IDs cannot be used only at face value.
• After participating in this session, participants will be able to recognize related items in a control loop.
• Distinguish between switches and signals and assess whether they're accessible via the field, via a remote station control room, and/or via a centralized Operations center."

Registrants who view the full recording to see the slides and hear the audio will receive 2.4 contact hours towards CWEA's CSM, EIT certifications.  It is not possible receive contact hours for both attending the live webinar and viewing the recording.
