William Edwards is an Environmental Compliance Inspector for the City of Vacaville, working in FOG control, industry user compliance, storm water, and public outreach. With over ten years of combined inspection, water quality and laboratory experience, William holds one professional value above any other: A positive attitude. Before graduation from Long Beach State, William grew up in San Diego, where he developed a passion for the environment. His ongoing goal, is to inform the residents of the city that he serves, about the importance of pretreatment, pollution prevention, and storm water concerns.

Linda Leong

Senior Engineer

SFPUC

Ms. Linda Leong is a Process Engineer with SFPUC and has been an active member of CWEA, SF Bay Section, Professional Development Committee since 2000. She has an M.S. in Environmental Engineering, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. She is registered as a Civil Engineer in California and has served on the NFPA Technical Committee "Wastewater Treatment Plants" since April 2006. Linda's approach to “seek first to understand” is a primary reason that she is considered a key “go to” person in her organization.

Dennis Doherty

Technical Director - FOGS Products

The Filta Group

Dennis Doherty from Los Angeles is the Technical Director for the Filta Group FOGS Products. Responsible for all aspects of the company's AGRD Automatic Grease Removal Device offerings for the USA and Canada.  A longtime CWEA member (now all sections) and onetime LABS director, Dennis started in water and wastewater as a manufacturer's representative in 2006.  He went solo with AGRD manufacturer GOSLYN in 2010 and was their exclusive distributor for the ten counties of So Cal until joining Filta in 2021.  His approach has always been to serve both the end-users and authorities as a knowledgeable solution provider and problem solver for FOGS.

Registrants who view the live webinar to see the slides and hear the audio and then enter the correct attention check code (directions below) will receive 2.4 contact hours towards CWEA's ECI certification.

Any attempt to undermine the certification process may be subject to ethics procedures and possible sanctions. It is not possible to receive contact hours for both attending the live webinar and viewing the recording.
