In addition to time and effort, attendees will note the additional benefit that automation has on the elimination of errors and the predictability and consistency of performance that can be achieved compared to other pretreatment information management systems.
Attendees will view potential ad hoc report generation capabilities and auto-generation for documents like Discharge Permits, NOVs, and COCs.

Michael Truong is a Source Control Inspector with Encina Wastewater Authority with 8 years of environmental compliance that ranges from laboratory work to source control. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Geohydrology from UC Santa Barbara and will complete his Master’s in Environmental Engineering this summer. He has a CWEA Lab Cert Grade 2 and CWEA ECI Grade 2.

Jonathon E. Powell has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Chapman University (2005), as well as a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University (2011). Jonathon began his professional career working for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) in 2005 as a Laboratory Technician and moved into his first pretreatment role as an Engineering Technician for the Industrial Waste Group in 2008. Jonathon began volunteering with the Pretreatment, Pollution Prevention, and Stormwater Committee (P3S) of the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) when he became an Inspector in 2010.
