Program Introduction, Program Implementation and Where We Are Now
The Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (181 mgd permitted capacity) was issued an NPDES permit in 2010 that requires significant upgrades ($1.75B). The new system will produce cleaner water for discharge and/or reuse. This curated track will focus on project overview, piloting, funding, asset management, operating efficiencies, innovations, start-up/commissioning, etc.
Learning Objective(s): 
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Understand the overall EchoWater Program (why it was formed, what it will produce, and how did they get there).
• Speak to the extent of plant modifications and upgrades required to meet such an NPDES Permit.
• Understand how the team balance innovation with risk management.

Asset Management: Data Collection and Transfer
The Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (181 mgd permitted capacity) was issued an NPDES permit in 2010 that requires significant upgrades ($1.75B). The new system will produce cleaner water for discharge and/or reuse. This curated track will focus on project overview, piloting, funding, asset management, operating efficiencies, innovations, start-up/commissioning, etc.
Learning Objective(s): 
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Understand the overall EchoWater Program (why it was formed, what it will produce, and how did they get there).
• Speak to the extent of plant modifications and upgrades required to meet such an NPDES Permit.
• Understand how the team efficiently manages the migration of data and documentation from the design and construction phases so that the owner can begin to operate and maintain the new equipment at project completion."
