Peter Arth is currently the Director of Enthalpy Analytical’s Environmental Toxicology division, including the flagship ELAP and NELAP-accredited laboratory in San Diego.. Over the course of his career in environmental laboratory services and consulting, he has led laboratory-driven toxicological programs for commercial, industrial, governmental, and academic partners. In all programs, Peter places a strong emphasis on effective collaboration, developing clear goals and objectives and attaining them cost efficiently, using sound experimental design, achieving unassailable data quality, and gaining client and regulatory approval. He has lent his expertise to several working groups and committees, including a current term on (ELTAC).

Katie Payne has nearly 15 years of experience in aquatic toxicity and bioassay at Enthalpy Analytical (formerly Nautilus Environmental) in San Diego, California. During her career in environmental laboratory services, she’s held positions in bench testing, project management, quality assurance, operations, and business development. She shares her expertise with several collaborative working groups, including The NELAC Institute Whole Effluent Toxicity Testing Expert Committee, the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, and the California Society of Environmental Analysts. Katie has a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and is pursuing a master’s in public health at UCLA.
