What’s in Store for Fresno’s Biosolids
A Biosolids Master Plan was completed for the City of Fresno’s Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) in an effort to diversify biosolids management, promote biosolids beneficial use, and explore potential cost savings. Come learn about various biosolids handling technologies, including emerging technologies, and the process used to evaluate and determine a recommended alternative.
Learning Objective(s):
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Identify a variety of biosolids management processes including their end-products and operational considerations.
• Identify non-financial criteria considerations, and the importance of engaging various stakeholders.
• Understand the process for arriving at a recommended alternative from a multi-step alternatives analysis, which includes financial, technical, regulatory, and marketing considerations."
